How hard is it to talk about customers in the back room instead of right in front of them?

Apparently, it’s very difficult for the ladies at the Thrifty front desk. Practically called me dumb to my face because I tapped my credit card instead of inserting it into the machine.

The car was good, clean and was perfect for my time in Dallas. But the gas tank was only filled to half. The gate attendant made a note of it but told me to take pictures just to be safe. Thankfully I did because after I returned the car (with more than half a tank) they still charged me $136 for fuel. ⛽️ very poor practice.
I would only use this company if it’s a LAST resort. There are lots of better options in the area.

I was charged for “upgrades” that I never agreed to and never received. I paid for a compact car rental through Priceline and I received a compact car. But when I returned my car rental I noticed I was charged for a vehicle upgrade that I never agreed to or received.

The car that I got had no gas and the back lights were not working. When I told the employees they brushed it off.

Definitely recommend paying a bit more and going to a more trustworthy agency like Avis or Sixt.

The shuttle from the airport was waiting for us! Fantastic! The car we were assigned had a light out, so we had to back up, unload our luggage, but we got to pick out an upgraded size car. We were tired from the long day, so it was a hassle that could have been avoided if the car had been properly examined before being rented again. Thank you to the astute woman who checked us out! We love the replacement blue Malibu. Thank you 😊

Quick and painless check out. You choose the make and model for the vehicle inside of your class. Not pushy for their own coverage when you say yours is capable. Shuttle to and from the terminal was regular, maybe 10-15 min round trips. During the day.

I rented here in August 2024 and it was great. Honestly one of the better rental experiences. I picked up a chevy malibu, the car was in good shape very clean, no issues. There were a few extra charges but the staff were nice about it and explained the total amount very clearly. Returning was easy, just drove right up, handed over the keys and the airport shuttle was right on time. All the receipts were emailed same day and I was only charged the amount they said. I’ll definitely consider using thrifty again.

My experience is that the staff was courteous, car was clean and ran well. The check out literally took less than 2 minutes. I will definitely be renting from this location anytime that I need a rental. I couldn't have had a better experience

I made an online reservation for my wife at this location for a 4 day rental. Due to an unforeseen change in her travel plans, she returned the car after 3 days. Thrifty more than doubled the original daily rate for the car, and I ended up paying over $100 more for the shorter rental. I submitted a complaint on Thrifty's web site but have heard absolutely nothing from them. It's time to move on to a new rental company. UPDATE: Thrifty responded to my complaint and adjusted the daily rental rate to a fair amount.
