The manager Eddie and his staff where very friendly and went far and beyond to help us with a rental. I left my favorite coffee cup in the car and they mailed it back to me without question! I’m very thankful!

I booked a car rental online to be picked up at 7:30 PM. Their website states they are open until 8:00 PM. Google even says these hours were verified 10 weeks ago. I went to pick up the car and there was no one in site. I tried to call but all I got was an answering machine. They have definitely lost my business. I will not be using them again and definitely do not recommend ever using them.

Place looks closed and semi abandoned. Someone, presumably the owner of the business, is using it as a storage facility. The primary office seems to be located inside Barkley Regional Airport Terminal across the hall from the coffee shop and snack bar for the airport and just a few feet from the main boarding and deboarding gate.

This company stole from me. The owner claimed I traveled with a pet when in fact I did not. Said there was dog hair left behind. I never had ANY dog or any animal in the car and argued possibly it came from my coat that sheds a bit. Charged me 400$ because they had to clean it. ABSOLUTE SCAM! No matter how much I argued my case the owner would not waive the feel and told me he “wouldn’t budge”. He was rude, uncaring, and a thief. Especially during the holiday season. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Update: Randy is the owner/ and operator of this location. Our insurance agent got no farther with him or Hertz company. We have now switched to Enterprise who is amazing and amazing customer service. They care and are wonderful to do business with. Also, they will pick us up and were happy to accept insurance. DO NOT USE HERTZ. ESPECIALLY, THIS LOCALLY OWNED LOCATION.
This location is an absolute disgrace to the Hertz name. The person working or managing this location, Randy, does not care about his customers at all. This location also does not care at all about there terribly low rating on here. As I write this review they have a 2 rating. It should be lower. He has left my family stranded in a local hotel and will not pick us up unless we hike 9.4 miles to the body shop that our insurance had our vehicle towed to. We are in process of formal complaints with Hertz. So far the company states this is an independently owned location. Please use another location or any other rental car company and save yourself a HUGE run around.

The WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED WITH ANY CAR RENTAL COMPANY. Randy is rude, incompetent and has no concept of what basic customer service should require. His argumentative tendencies reek of a poor hiring decision by whomever is in charge of this Herrz region/branch/location… Your company has paid Tom Brady millions of dollars to represent your brand. Randy and his business practices are the antithesis of that.

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I made a reservation to rent a car and when I called and spoke with Tina, I asked her how much it would be to extend the reservation for 1 day. I told her that I would think about it and asked her what time they closed. She told me 9pm. I told her that I would think about it and call back if I decided to extend the reservation. After looking at my initial reservation and seeing that she'd given me an incorrect price for the extension, I called back. I ended up speaking to another guy who told me that Tina had CANCELED my reservation!!!

I don't understand how she thought me calling to ask about an extension equaled canceling my reservation. Then I was told that they wouldn't have any cars available for me until Saturday.

I had an important interview in another state and now I'm scrambling to figure out how I'm going to get to my interview.

I called corporate and they were just as clueless and could not help because this Hertz location is privately owned.

I'm still at a loss for words and livid at my experience with this entire situation. If there's a way to rent a car from another company, do it.

I have rented from this Hertz location multiple times in the last few months and I have always had a very good experience. Randy has always been very kind and helpful to us. I’ve never had a problem with the reservation itself or with any of the vehicles.
